Why This Client is Great To Generate Leads For
- 28 years of experience with over 40 full-time salaried employees.
- They generate $16 million in annual revenue and are positioned to scale even further.
- They have an above-industry-standard closing percentage, backed by a powerful sales force. Their speed, competitive pricing, credentials, and availability help them outperform most roofing companies in closing jobs. (This matters because most people get multiple quotes.)
- They will pay us commission ranging from 1%–5% depending on job size and scope.
- Most established construction companies spend around 2%–6% on marketing and prefer fixed costs. Convincing this roofing company to pay commission on large commercial jobs required significant effort.
- They can handle large-scale commercial projects that most competitors cannot. They recently closed a $3.4 million commercial job.
- They offer a 30–50 year Golden Pledge Warranty, which only 1% of roofing companies qualify for — a massive selling point for customers.
- I have access to their CRM to ensure all closed leads are tracked and paid accurately.
- I’ve built a very close relationship with this client over the past 8 years.
Note: What can make the biggest difference in this lead gen business is finding these A+++ winner business owners / operators, especially when it comes to high ticket niches.

Some Ranking Strategies
- Many of the suburbs that are 30K to 120K population will be much easier to
rank than most major cities
- Building a site and brand that's solely focused on "commercial roofing" or
"flat roof" will rank better for those types of keywords. For example:
Commercial Flat Roof Company
(less volume of leads but each job is much bigger)
- Map listings will generate leads based on proximity search, so you're only
competing with roofing sites within 5-10 mile radius of that map listing
this means map listings can generate leads WITHOUT the website ever ranking
- If you create a map listing in a town with bunch of residential homes, then
it makes sense to create a regular roofing site, if you create a map listing
where there are tons of commercial buildings which all usually have flat
roofs then it might be a great opportunity to create a flat roof or
commercial roof brand/site or you can do both. I check out sites like
zillow.com to find residential homes and loopnet.com allows you to see
commercial buildings
Sample Lead Gen Site Developed by My Team

- Notice: Information-rich content, picture of the main company logo, pictures of commercial projects, picture of financing options.
(You can copy all of these photos onto your own site — simply go to glenvieweliteroofing.com, find a photo you like, then right-click and select “Save image as.”)

The above in the header could avoid a lot of confusion for the customer when my client shows up. It can also help with conversions because of the license # and our client’s track record.
Warning: I have already made an exclusivity deal with this client, meaning all students come through me and I will not leave this client for another roofing client either. Plus it was not easy to set up our CRM automation for tracking. If any student tries to go around me and tries to communicate with the client directly, the client will let me know who it was and you will be permanently banned from participating in this opportunity.

These are all the commercial projects that the client has done. You can grab all these pictures and use it on your own site.

I recommend putting the above financing options pictures on the first page as well.
Commission Structure

- All commissions split 50/50 with Ippei
- In my 10 years experience, most construction companies pay for ads or pay per lead. Typically roofing/construction companies pay 2-8% in marketing costs. Established brands pay around 2-5% in marketing costs.
- My client can close jobs and finish jobs quickly because he has a large team, over 40 people on full-time W2 payroll which means they will close & complete jobs faster than small team roofing companies even though margins might be slightly less
- This is why I really had to negotiate for these commissions. I got it increased from 3% to 5% for most roofing jobs. I also made sure we get paid for big commercial projects which most roofing companies were not willing to do.
- Additional Bonus of .5% will be rewarded to the student that produced the most sales in a quarter, calculated at the end of every quarter.

Final Words
- Look at this as an additional opportunity for some of your lead gen
portfolio where you don't have to worry about closing a deal yourself.
- Still go through the training and learn due diligence (finding your
niche+city) yourself and build lead gen sites in your own market or market
you find
- As a new student, I would do whatever it takes to build at least 5 lead gen
properties from the beginning, ideally 10 off the bat and it will be almost
guaranteed that you will succeed with this business
