The best way to offer websites to local businesses is through rank and rent. You first create a local website in a specific industry. After, you rank it on Google through local SEO. Once it’s ranked and getting traffic, you offer it to a local business to rent it out. The website is still yours, but you add their service details. Since you’re offering actual leads instead of just a site, clients usually rent it out for $500 to $3,000 per month.

My experience with the rank and rent model since 2014 has been great. This proves it’s a business that has lasted for years and is still going strong today. I might earn the same as Dylan Power ($50,000 per month), but I don’t feel guilty about tricking people early on. I also have lasting relationships with my clients.
