VIDEO 1: HOW TO CREATE A FACEBOOK BUSINESS ACCOUNT

Step 5 has to do with Facebook and Sarah starts the module off by showing you how to get a FB Business Account.
This is necessary as it will be your primary account from which you create and run your FB Ads and Campaigns.

It's not a difficult process, and Sarah explains it succinctly.

VIDEO 2: HOW TO CREATE A FACEBOOK FANPAGE

If you want to advertise on people's FB feeds, then you need a Fan Page. Without a Fan Page, you can only advertise in the sidebar, which is mostly ignored by FB users.

In this video, Sarah shows you how to set a FB Fan Page correctly up for your store.

In this lesson, Zack teaches you the basics of creating a video ad on the cheap.

It's a great addition to the course, especially when you get tips from a professional regarding gear, setting lighting, etc.

VIDEO 5: HOW TO EDIT A SHOWCASE VIDEO AD FOR FACEBOOK


Zac is the tutor again and this video focuses on editing your video ads.

In order to use Zack's suggestions though, you are going to need Adobe's Premier Pro which costs $20.99 per month.
This is a much more technical lesson and could be a little intimidating for beginners, but Zack does a good job at explaining everything in layman's terms.

VIDEO 6: HOW TO CREATE AN EXAMPLE VIDEO AD

Zack explains how you can create an example video for your ads. An example video explains how a product solves a problem.

A good sales tactic is to show how a product solves a problem, not what its features are.

VIDEO 7: HOW TO CREATE A LOW BUDGET FACEBOOK ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

This is where a course usually succeeds or fails at its content. You advertising strategy on FB is key to ensuring your marketing success. You need to know how much to bid, when to bid and when to scale or kill ads. 

Sarah offers an important lesson by covering everything that you need. From detailed targeting, marketing objective, Conversion Campaign set up, all the way through to showing you an example of what your ad should look like. 

It really is everything a beginner needs. Kudos, Sarah!

VIDE0 8: HOW TO CREATE A 3 AD-CREATIVE FACEBOOK ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

In this lesson, Sarah uses her cat spoons as the example to create three different ads for the same product. You will do this for testing to see which one is the best ad.

For this lesson, Sarah uses two Image Ads and one Video Ad. Sarah takes you through the entire process again, which includes everything from the specific target audience to the budget.

To ensure that your ad is profitable, Sarah lists four criteria to check: break-even point, click-through-rate, cost-per-click, and your impressions/CPM. 

These are great tips and a sure way to see if your ads are doing as well as expected. If they don't tick all four the criteria boxes, then it's time to kill the ad(s).

VIDEO 10: SEO INTRODUCTION VIDEO GET FREE TRAFFIC FROM GOOGLE

Sarah shows you what organic search results are in Google and why it is important to optimize your pages for SEO (Searhc Engine Optimization). For this lesson, Sarah uses the example of coffee mugs for lawyers.

VIDEO 11: HOW TO FIND LOW COMPETITION KEYWORDS FOR SEO

This is the start of Sarah's SEO optimization phase for your store and focuses on keywords. Keywords are the words that people would use when doing a search on Google. 

Using keywords in your content is crucial for your Google rankings, so this is an important lesson. To find the right keywords for your site, Sarah suggests you use the Moz keyword tool by subscribing to their Medium Plan. 

Yes, $179 per month subscription fee for a beginner might seem excessive, but there are ways around paying for it. You get a free 30 day trial, so that is what Sarah suggests you use. 

Sarah then shows you how best to use Moz to your benefit.

VIDEO 12: HOW TO OPTIMIZE PRODUCT PAGES FOR SEO

Sarah gives some great tips on how to optimize your pages for SEO. She pays attention to headers, product descriptions, keyword density (very important), image alt data, website meta data, and URL and handle. 

These are great tips that can be used across all pages on your site.

VIDEO 13: HOW TO OPTIMIZE PRODUCT CATEGORY PAGES

Product Category Pages are not designed to accommodate a lot of text. But Sarah says not to worry as Google's Algorithm is clever enough to know this and actually ranks category pages that do not have a lot of text

Sarah offers some useful hints on how to optimize your category pages.

VIDEO 14: HOW TO OPTIMIZE YOUR HOMEPAGE

If you used the Pop Theme as Sarah suggested for your store, then you would have noticed that the theme does not leave much space for text.

It's optimized to be visually attractive and that is why Sarah shows you how to load the page with as many products as you can and adding two small text boxes to get your word count over 400.

When it comes to Google - Content is king! Google loves only one thing more than original content - NEW content. A blog is thus a must if you are serious about your organic rankings on Google. 

Sarah offers a few tips to implement in your blog, covering frequency, length and the type of content.

VIDEO 16: HOW TO BUILD BACKLINKS WITH INSTAGRAM PAGES

In this last lesson, Sarah discusses what backlinks are and why they are important. Sarah's advice is to create a niche meme Instagram page that links back to your online store.

Step 5 - My Key Takeaways 

This is a great module with several highlights. I especially liked the tutorials where Sarah discussed how to scale your FB Ads, low competition keywords, and how to optimize your pages for SEO. 


Although they might seem a little technical for some, the tutorials presented by Zack Lawson on videography was also very informative.

Sarah did a great job at including lots of content, dealing with a wide range of topics, for this module.

OVERALL IMPRESSION OF STEP 5: HOW TO GET TRAFFIC & BUYERS TO YOUR STORE

This is a little gem of a module. It is one of the better modules I've come across which covers driving traffic to your store.

Without visitors to your store, you won't have any chance at survival, so you would think that this topic is well covered in all dropshipping courses.

But it is often neglected. Sarah on the other hand, has compiled a great module for beginners. Not only does it teach you many different methods for driving traffic to your site, but they're also extremely cost effective.
