Cardone University is a real online university, and covering all the courses in it will take you more or less the same time it would take you to get a degree.

Grant Cardone University is a flagship sales training course that is designed to take anyone, regardless of background/experience, and make them into a great salesperson.

It is one of the most expensive courses Grant offers.

First, let me just say I'm a big fan of Grant, but he's not my one and only mentor in sales.

So, how does Cardone U compare to other sales training courses I've purchased?

Let me tell you off the bat that I don't have an affiliate link to Grants' University.

If you end up buying any course in the University portal, I will not be making a dime.

Grant Cardone has been instrumental in my journey of becoming a successful entrepreneur at the age of 25 with my local lead generation business.

He was absolutely a factor in the equation to hitting my first $10K per month in revenue.

One of my go-to resources back then was Grant Cardone's book the 10X rule.

So many people recommended it to me, I had to check it out.

I had the audiobook version that I would listen to all the time and it really helped me stay motivated to work hard and hustle.

It was refreshing to hear someone being blunt and saying the truth.

The truth of the matter, guy, is that most people aren't working hard enough.

So much personal development content is about mindset and visualization stuff.

That's great and all, and has its place as well.

But thankfully, I learned from GC that nothing trumps taking massive action.

My business began to grow faster just by adopting the 10X mentality of doing more.

Cardone U is Grant's mack daddy back-end of the funnel product.

It's his highest ticket item and this is what his entire company's marketing efforts ultimately want to get you to buy.

He sells this course to individuals as well as to companies and their entire sales teams.

It's the self-proclaimed, best online sales training on the planet.

For good reason!

This course covers a lot.

From sales, handling objections, motivation, finances, all the way to goal setting, and webinars...

Plus, they have new content added regularly. 

In a way, many of the topics felt familiar to the free content I had already seen by Grant, but nonetheless, I thought that the organized format that you can consistently go back and review really enhances your learning capabilities.

His lessons can become ingrained if you review them, and practice them consistently.

Going over the material inside Cardone University many times over is the next best thing to actually working beside Grand Cardone, and having him personally mentor you.

If you're already a fan of Grant Cardone, you already know how beneficial it is to become better at sales.

If you're just starting to get to know Grant, then I highly recommend getting his 10X Rule audiobook and going through that.

Grant gives you real and practical lessons that you can apply immediately.

Yes, you get some insanely good sales scripts too.

I found that the followup strategies for prospects were the most useful for me, out of everything in the 10X Rule.

Grant just has this way of motivating you to push yourself into doing more, and getting more done out of your day.

Part of it comes from his own drive to succeed, and keep succeeding.

Who wouldn't want to maximize their day and accomplish 10 times as much crap in 24 hours?

No brainer.

Just by adopting some of Grant's 10X mindset, you should begin to show noticeable increases in your productivity, and as a result, your bottom line.

I know when I'm on a 10x kick, I'm blown away by how much more I am able to do each day.

Cardone University is not like the courses I usually review.

This is much more than a simple DFY course, that promises to make you rich in a very short time.

It doesn't even promise anything, to be honest:

Imagine having to choose whether to go to college and get a degree in business & marketing and enrolling in Cardone University.

This is the easiest way I can find to actually explain how huge this project is.

If you want to learn sales, in all the various facets of this fascinating subject, then why not learn from the very best?

You're getting so much value from the University that it's insane:

I didn't even go over all of the courses offered because there are more than 1500 videos and courses you really have to study for to get the certifications.

If you go through Cardone University it's 100% sure that you are going to become better at what you focused on.

And you know better than me that Grant Cardone is no scam.

The dude has been around for 35 years and is the guru of the gurus. In fact, he's been the inspiration for so many other successful entrepreneurs who are now running their own financial leadership coaching program, like Jack Gibson and his Indestructible Wealth program! 

If you want to learn sales, thee is nothing better than Cardone University.

The cost to attend Cardone University ranges from $999 to $10k depending on the qualification, with a median cost of $2k. The cost for the whole package for 12 months is $10k.

You can choose to become a lifetime member of the university for $20k too, with all the courses unlocked for you.

To be honest, I know this can seem like a big investment, but with courses being constantly added, to me it's a no brainer to invest in some of his courses at least.

Is There Anything Missing from Grant Cardone's Sales Training?

I certainly can't give Grant's sales training all the credit for my current success as an entrepreneur.

Here are few things that I learned from other mentors that helped me a ton:

• The importance of mastering your vocal tonality in sales by Jordan Belfort
• Attraction Marketing by Dan Lok, and using positioning to have clients come to you that are already pre-sold on who you are and what you have to offer
• Importance of effective copywriting that get people to take action by Dan Lok, and others
• NEPQ by Jeremy Miner teaches the effect of human behavior in improving your sale calls.

Grant's training is more general. It's for anyone and everyone involved in the prospecting and selling of a product.

No scam course here.. he provides true value.

Whether you're a real estate agent, or someone selling kitchenware, his techniques apply.

It also encompasses more phone sales and face to face selling.

But as Gary Vaynerchuk says, in today's era of the internet, every business owner needs to become their own publicist and internet marketer.

The sales process happens right from the very first contact with a customer landing on your website, for example.

Branding, building a following, increasing online visibility and knowing how to target your audience are all critical elements of leveraging an online presence.

Dan Lok does a great job blending some solid sales strategies as well as going into some of these newer sales techniques that big internet marketers are doing.

Better Alternative?

If you're going to start a company and be the sales manager, Grant's University is the perfect place for you.

However, these days, I just don't advocate going down the road of making a cold call or having to close deals to people who may or may not be involved, as Grant teaches.

I mean, he's the boss, don't get me wrong, but I have found a really good system where your selling skills have to be minimal, cuz your biz is doing all the leverage for you.

Lead Generation, where you rank your own website, is a far superior model to monetize your skills.

Let me explain, keep reading...

I run a $50K per month lead generation business but all of my leads are generating through free traffic or SEO.

So it's pretty much passive income, businesses want my leads and I really don't have to sweat it to find one that is going to pay me for a percentage or a monthly fee from what he makes from those leads.

The website I create ranks on the first page of Google, in the so-called map pack, and the leads just start pouring in.

So, you see, it's passive income, I don’t have to worry about making sales and creating irresistible offers:

My offer IS irresistible.

Once my site ranks it generally keeps its rank with very little to no maintenance.

Don’t get me wrong you can still make a living selling the old-school way, but it's a hard route very challenging to do so.

This is why I still recommend people look into doing lead generation with free traffic.

Conclusion

Grant Cardone's Cardone University is great, everything is there to learn how to learn to be a better salesman.

But let me tell you:

There are business models where you don't need all that sales knowledge to accomplish what you want:

In lead gen, you are offering your benefits upfront, usually with the first couple of leads to a new local business for free.

The business would be crazy not to partner up with you.

Unlike selling through cold calls or 1 on 1, if you know how to generate leads with free traffic, you can  go into any niche and create an incredible level of results for clients.

That’s how 90% of my multiple 6 figure income is generated. And I should add that it's passive income: see free traffic never stops.

In 2021, even during Covid-19, I continue to build more lead gen sites and I write at least 1 blog post a day for this site, because I’ve come to realize that these are the high-income producing activities because it directly increases my free traffic every month.
