Aaron also has a lot of upsells in his course. He uses up whole videos to explain why you should buy a certain book or journal book. Under each of those videos, he has an Amazon affiliate link for you to purchase the book. Of course, he makes a commission anytime someone uses the link to purchase the book.
2. Excessive mindset content
Aaron talks way too much about mindset. Of course, it's important to have the right mindset when starting an online business, but it feels like overkill. This course would be better received if he focused more on teaching actionable affiliate marketing strategies.
3. Paypal only affiliate commission payout
You can sign up as an affiliate for Aaron's course, but they only pay your affiliate commissions out through PayPal if you make any money. There is no other option.
Who is Aaron Chen?
Aaron is a successful affiliate entrepreneur who is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Just like many people, he worked a 9-5 job in the corporate world and wasn't happy. From 2009 to 2016, he invested almost $100K in online courses to find his own digital marketing niche and went broke.
Aaron bought courses that taught MLM, dropshipping and other online businesses. In 2016, his mentor, Vik Strizheus, taught him a strategy called Indirect Selling. It's all about building trust with your audience by educating them on what you're selling before you actually sell your products.

But there is a lot of work that needs to be done before you see any kind of profit. To be profitable, you must understand you need to rank globally for search terms relevant to the product or service you're selling, so you've got to generate lots of traffic. Also, you're competing with thousands of affiliate marketers and advertisers worldwide, which makes it more difficult to rank.
Creating a blog and a YouTube channel can help you generate more traffic, but those tasks are time-consuming and more of a long-term play. Running Facebook ads or creating a Google ad, if properly optimized, can generate traffic fast, but it's getting more expensive to do so as the years pass. Even if you create social media profiles as part of your marketing campaigns, it's going to take a lot of time and money to generate traffic.
