Chauffer, sports coach, short-order cook, there is no denying that a stay at home mom wears a thousand hats. The demands of child-rearing the reality of your life frequently equates to stress over finances, and the yearning for some ‘grow up conversation.’ A few supplemental bucks would be an added bonus for most households, but how do you earn some extra cash without compromising on your number one priority-raising your kids?

Here are # ways to make money as a stay at home mom that promise to not only surprise you but allow you to carve out a piece of the pie guilt-free.

CHILD CENTERED ENTERPRISES

With no immediate family or friends to rely on, parenting becomes more than just a full-time job. For many stay at home mom’s the luxury of ‘sneaking out’ for a few hours to facilitate a pop-up party or sell products at a vendor activity is not feasible. If you don’t have the option to be ‘sans kid’ but are still interested in generating a side income for yourself and your family, here are a few options which not only allow you to work from home, but include your own children all while getting paid-yippee!

1. HOME DAYCARE

Your playroom is in shambles and the barely controlled chaos of your home is just a regular part of your daily routine. Already responsible for the care and well-being of your own babe(s) why not consider operating an in-home daycare? For many parents, returning to the workforce is not an option, but when contemplating child care a vast majority of them are looking for a homey environment as opposed to a facility.

In-home daycare providers are still required to adhere to rules and regulations with regards to the number of children in your home, but with the opportunity to charge $45/child per day potential earnings are notable. If you have space and patience, owning an in-home daycare is the ideal fit for many stay-at-home parents.

2. BEFORE/AFTERCARE PROGRAM

Many 9-5 parents with school-aged children scramble to figure out before and after school solutions. For older children, it could mean merely a lift to and from school every day. Younger children may need a place to go until their mom or dad is finished work. If you’re already going to the school to pick up your tribe, why not consider making a few extra dollars a week by facilitating a before and after school program in your home?

Less demanding than a full-day service, this is a perfect way to fill your purse with some extra spending money. It should be noted that government regulations pertaining to this set-up too, so research the rules in your state to make sure you don’t get caught with your hand in the cookie jar. If you prefer peace of mind, consider aligning with an organization such as Child Care Aware of America who assists their employees in connecting with families and administering strategies for a successful setup.

3. BABYSIT

If your own children have you running too much to contemplate the idea of more in your house during the day, why not consider babysitting? With the flexibility to choose your potential families and hours of availability, this is primarily a weekend and evening engagement.

Babysitters make an average of $15-$18/hour dependent on the number of children-not too shabby! To generate a steady clientele base you can connect with a number of companies offering services in your area via APPS or go it alone, but babysitting has the potential to pay for more than just a monthly mani or pedi.

4. IN-HOME ART/SENSORY SESSIONS

Statistics report that there has been a steady increase in the number of parents who decide to stay at home. With this increase comes a heightened demand for day-time activities to keep youngsters entertained. If you have some extra space, a sliver of creativity and possess a reputation as being a character unaffected by mayhem, why not consider facilitating a ‘messy play studio’ or art group in your home several times a week?

Children need social interaction in addition to exposure to unique sensory experiences to enhance both gross and fine motor skills. From playdough and paint to shaving cream and ‘slime’, kids love making a mess and parents are willing to pay-notably when they are not responsible for clean up. With rates starting at $15-$20/child per visit, this is an affair that may be worth investigating.

RENT OUT YOUR OLD/UNUSED GEAR

We all have a little of the 'hoarder' inside us-no shame! For parents, it seems like we accumulate faster than we eradicate. Why not make some money from old and unused items sitting around your place collecting dust or becoming potential tripping grounds?

You may not be using it now, but the reality is that if you may use it in the future it is often better to hold onto it as opposed to selling for a low ball price and then needing to purchase new in the future-think crib, playpen, highchair-you get where I'm going here right? There are numerous APPs and platforms now available to rent out belongings for money, some may surprise you-others delight you-check them out.

5. RENT A TOY BIZ

At the end of each day as you tidy up the playroom for the one-millionth time, how many times do you mutter to yourself that your kid has too many toys? If you’re like most parents, you KNOW they have too many toys. Why not consider renting out some of the less favored items for cash?

You can choose your rental agreement package-pricing, length, return condition, etc. For parents, this is a great opportunity to test a toy before they purchase, or provide ‘new stuff’ so their precious bundle doesn’t get bored. Here are some informative tips on how you can launch a toy rental business today.

6. RENT OUT YOUR BABY GEAR

In the first year of life, it is nothing short of amazing just how fast your baby grows. Seemingly overnight, the car seat is too small, they hate the stroller, the lights on the exersaucer no longer amuse them. Baby items are EXPENSIVE, and you may need them again-hint hint. Why not recoup your investment and rent some of that outgrown baby gear? Here are three choices where parents can become independent affiliates and start earning money on rentals.

7. goBabyApp

Considered the “AirBnB” of on-the-go- baby gear, goBabyApp is a rental app that allows parents the luxury of not having to pack up a ton of stuff when they travel. Also fantastic for bridging the gap or providing supplies to grandparents or alternate care providers without the need to purchase, baby supply rentals are quickly becoming a hot ticket item. Registering on the goBabyApp is a quick process and you can be up and renting items whenever you are ready to pull the trigger.

Free to join, reviews suggest that parents can make up to $600/month with this social media-based platform. You sign up via email or Facebook and the APP provides a list of suggested price points for items to get you started. Paid via Stripe there is some dissatisfaction regarding the 2.9% service charge imposed by Stripe, but in this day and age that is pretty par for the course in my opinion.

8. BabyQuip

As a parent, you KNOW how stressful traveling can be no matter how old your children are. And then there’s the packing-the never-ending packing. How is it possible for someone so small to require SO MUCH STUFF. Strollers, highchairs, playpens, on and on the list goes and you can’t leave anything behind “just in case”. What if I told you it was possible to leave everything behind? Ahh interested eh? Renting baby gear for traveling families is a great way to generate cash-flow for parents and Baby Quip makes the process seemingly painless.

For $100 you can sign up as a provider and are guaranteed  80% of earnings on each rental in addition to 100% of your tips. You have the ability to market yourself on social media platforms, but traveling families are also able to connect with you via the Baby Quip APP. To sign up or learn more about Baby Quip just log in here and start renting when you’re ready.

9. Traveling Baby Company

Operating in 30 locations in 15 states across the USA, affiliates earn 80% on rentals and 100% of delivery fees and tips through this free to join podium. Affiliates earn an average of $800-$1200/monthly based on the number of rentals secured-not a bad way to go for stay at home parents looking for a way to make some legit cash from home. You’re not using the items so save the time and hassle of storing and dusting them and get renting!

For those interested in becoming an associate you may contact the company directly at info@travelingbaby.com or call 1-800-304-4866. The website is worth viewing to get an idea of price points but does not provide a sign-up option for potential renters.

10. RENT YOUR SPORTS GEAR

Commonly referred to as the "Air BnB" for bikes, spinlister.com is a web and mobile APP for peer-sharing outdoor sports equipment. Everything from skis and snowboards to gold clubs and surf boards are up for grabs. Stay at home parents don't always have the luxury of free time to go out and hit 18 holes so why not consider renting out your gear and making a bit of capital while you tend to kid stuff?

Free to join renters are rumored to make around $500/month but of course it depends on how frequently you rent and what you plan to charge. Spinlister takes 17.5% off every rental but covers you for up to $10 000 in damage and theft protection. A little fine print to review, but this site is the real deal and a great way to generate an income with stuff you have but are not using. Click here to sign up or learn more about how you can being renting today.

11. RENT OUT MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

Still holding on to that trumpet from high school? Guitar collecting dust in your closet? Why not consider renting out your musical instruments using the sparkplug.it APP. Free to join using your FaceBook is recommended. Renters fill out their profile and list their instruments accordingly. You have the option to rent hourly to monthly and everything in between. The APP takes care of all of the payment details and renters receive their money via direct deposit within 24 hours.

AT HOME SUGGESTIONS

For many stay at home moms leaving the house for even a few hours is not an option. If this is your life at the moment but you are still searching for a way to bring in some extra dollars, here are suggestions that will bring an income right to you.

12. TEACH MUSIC LESSONS

If you can carry a tune and have experience teaching children 2-4 years old you might want to consider hooking up with Music for Young Children. Yes I know they offer instrumental lessons, but you need to be qualified for that option. If you own the right certifications and talent then kudos to you, but for those that don’t you could still be considered for their ‘pre-keyboard, music and movement programs’.

An environment conducive to learning, an interactive teaching style and some capital for start-up fees are requirements in addition to completing the registration process and qualifying as an MYC teacher. If you have a love of music and a few hours of free time on a weekly basis to conduct lessons, I would encourage you to check this out.

13. TEACH PAINTING LESSONS

No need to beat yourself up if you’re tone-deaf and can’t carry a tune. Perhaps painting is more your piece de resistance?  Paint nights have become quite the rage for adults, however, there is a potential goldmine in teaching basic painting techniques to children.

Let’s face it, most of the time kids just want to have fun and be granted the freedom to express themselves. Art therapy has been utilized for years for a host of mental health issues, but it is also a fantastic way for children to become more confident, and aware of the world around them.

With a few basic tools, airy space and some fairly standard knowledge, you could be up and running in no time.

Lessons range from $20-$80/hour based on your skill level, how technique intensive you intend to instruct and the age-range of your clientele.

At the onset of your endeavor, you may be interested in connecting with a platform whose primary focus is to promote your services, such as Take Lessons.Com which you can read more about now. Who knows you may inspire the next Van Gogh!

14. OFFER JUNIOR SPA SERVICES

Who doesn’t love a good spa day? Fluffy robes, fancy drinks, and pampering can be a ton of fun in addition to relaxing. Spa days for kids are rapidly expanding as the ‘go-to’ idea for birthday parties, graduations, confirmations or just a unique play-date venture. If you enjoy aesthetics, makeup and have a ton of tolerance for silly then this idea may be of interest to you.

Buy or make some kid-friendly face masks-think chocolate pudding, hot pink or red nail polish, a few basins for foot soaks and presto mobile or in-home spa service. You can jazz it up to suit your style and your customers depending on the age and price range you are interested in with the option to offer to serve at your home or mobile style. Prices range from $40-$50/child and if you’re stuck for ideas on how to begin or what packages to offer take a peek at this site for inspiration.

15. IN-HOME FITNESS CLASS

Child obesity has become an epidemic in the USA affecting “13.7 million children and adolescents”. With accelerated health risks comes the need for increased physical activity-not to mention a complete nutrition overhaul-but I digress.

Exercise does NOT have to be boring or monotonous, but in order to engage kids in activity as adults, it is our responsibility to generate a fun-filled, action-packed session that will not only elevate heart rates but allow children to expend energy and create a positive body image and self-awareness.

If you enjoy fitness, are motivational, at the bare minimum a basic knowledge of form, technique and human anatomy why not teach classes? Or you could take it one step further and become certified which will allow you not only to charge more but to become an expert in the market.

For the little's sometimes playing music and providing adequate space to run and move around it all it takes. Active is active-bottom line. No matter which way you get after this, there is money to be made and young lives that would benefit tremendously through programming.

16. MANUFACTURE BATH AND BODY CARE PRODUCTS

Wellness and natural products are all the rage these days. As we become more aware of the unpleasant side effects of parabens and chemicals whose names we cannot pronounce, people are looking for homemade products utilizing organic ingredients to take care of their bath and body needs. If you have a bit of the craft genie in you why not consider making and selling bath and body care products?

You can choose to connect with local shops on a consignment basis or set up your own sellers platform with online sites such as Etsy and Shopify. There is definitely some legwork in making and selling products from home, but here is a great article with a few tips and tricks to get you started.

17. MARKET YOUR YARN WEAR

Knitting and crochet are becoming a lost art. People love the cozy, personal touch of homemade yarn products and will pay good money to own them. Much like the bath products, if you possess this talent you can capitalize on it through local craft shows and mom to mom events.

Launch your product online or on social media platforms or consider the consignment option. I found this feature particularly helpful in providing a behind the scenes view of how to begin selling your pieces for cash.

18. TEESPRING

The crossroads where graphic design meets inspirational quotes. People love personalized items. From t-shirts and mugs to phone cases and wall art if you have an eye for design consider connecting with teespring.com and take advantage of this market. Free to join, designers can download their work for sale and teespring takes care of the rest.

From printing and selling to customer service. With the ability to set your prices you make a profit on anything higher than the base price. For example, if a t-shirt base cost is $10 and you sell for $24 you earn $14 ROI

In order for your design to be sold, you must acquire at least 10 orders. If you do not get 10 orders then no t-shirts (items) will be made, but you are not out of pocket, it’s just back to the drawing board. This editorial is worth the read if you are interested in learning more about teespring, check out their website and sign up to become a designer today. Best of luck!

19. SCRAPBOOK ARTIST

Like most parents, you more than likely have nothing short of 1000 photos of your kids on your phone/camera, I know the drill. Kid does something cute-snap pic. Kid tries something new-snap pic. 23. NEILSON

This APP is intended for research purposes but compensates uses passively for their participation. Reviews assure us that this is not a scam and that as a reputable company, NEILSON is solely interested in how people use their devices. Also referred to as The Neilson Panel, users have the option to download the APP on more than just one device. With a payout of approximately $50/year per device, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you should download this to every device you own.

24. STYLINITY

GET PAID TO LOSE WEIGHT

It’s no secret that for most stay at home parents working out and healthy eating are a daily challenge. After countless hours running around and catering to your children’s needs, there is precious little time or energy for fitness. I know it’s a challenge, but I also know that excuses are easy and a healthy parent is not only a positive example but when you are physically well daily tasks become much easier to perform.

If you have been promising yourself to lose a few extra pounds or implement a better diet but struggle with motivation, why not consider setting a bet to lose weight? There are a number of APPs-some free and some associated with a start-up fee based on you waging a bet to lose x amount of pounds within a certain period of time. If you accomplish your goal you are rewarded with either points or dollars.

There are long and short time commitments and it appears that you can cancel at any time. While there are some inspirational success stories, the amount you stand to make is dependent on how much money you wager and if you are successful.

Listed below are five of the top Lose Weight APPs offering a more comprehensive explanation with pros and cons for each APP that I hope you will find helpful. Good luck!

26. HEALTHY WAGE

One of the more popular betting APPs, HealthyWage is a free social dieting APP that allows participants to wager a bet on their weight loss goals within a predetermined period of time. You have the option to join as an individual or as a team.

Place your bet and have a bit of fun shedding pounds with the added incentive of making some money for your efforts. They contribute loads of support and encouragement and the payouts are legit. If you have been considering dropping some excess squish then this APP may be worth investigating.

27. GYM PACT

If the days of pumping iron or sneaking in a spin class are all but a distant memory why not consider adding a wager into the mix to get you back in the game? Finding time to exercise is tough even for people without children. When kids enter the mix hitting the gym can become close to impossible.

Even with the best of intentions days turn into weeks then months and still no workouts. If you need some motivation to assist you in showing up for training GYM PACT may be just what you need to get back at it.

This APP is not just a weight loss APP. With this platform, you have the luxury of making ‘pacts’ with yourself and how well you commit to daily exercise and working out.

If you stick with your pact you earn money-typically about $5+/week, but if you don’t keep your end of the bargain you are out cash so be prepared to do the work. The last thing any stay at home parent needs is money flowing out of their wallet as opposed to in it. You can sign up for this complimentary APP here.

28. DIET BET

Reporting a user success rate of 90% DIET BET is a cost-free APP offering some of the best incentives-up to $1000 in certain cases.  Customers have the privilege of joining an existing fitness game or creating one on their own. Games run for 28 days and participants are required to lose 4%. Winners are awarded a portion of ‘the pot’ and everyone is guaranteed to receive a monetary reward for their efforts if weight loss goals are achieved.

With tons of support, tips and accountability partners it is no wonder why this APP has such a solid reputation for being a prosperous endeavor for those trying to slim down. You can learn more about DIET BET here with an option to sign up and start ‘playing’ today.

29. FITCOIN

Bitcoin fans this one’s for you! FIT COIN pays out in cryptocurrency for fitness tracking. This on the house APP tracks your heart rate and the duration of the activity. It then applies an algorithm converting your physical efforts into how much time your device is permitted to spend ‘mining currency’.

The chances of hitting a Fortune 500 jackpot are considerably slim, but it’s a super cool concept if you’re a crypto-fan and a bit of bunny money is better than no money at all. Sign up with FITCOIN now if you’re down. Free to join FITCOIN is implementing some attractive changes for its users and connecting with vendors.  Reports advise that they hope to offer more attractive payout options for participating. Get in on the ground level and you may end up with more than you bargained for.

30. FITSTUDIO

A website that syncs with your FITBIT and other fitness devices, FITSTUDIO offers a rewards program just for meeting your steps offering payouts of $5/14000 miles. There are a number of other ways to earn points such as completing their workouts, downloading your profile, burning extra calories, etc. Payout is recouped on a weekly basis, so the catch here is that if you don’t use your points within seven days you lose your points which sucks.

There are loopholes to cashing in your hard-earned points and redeeming discounts while shopping that you can read more about here. If you are a regular KMart shopper, however, savings is savings. Especially true for parents of young children and/or babies who go through diapers, wipes, and detergent like bad underwear. If you are religious about wearing your FITBIT and seeking to economize FITSTUDIO may be worth your time based on the dividends alone.

ONLINE OPPORTUNITIES

Online opportunities generating an income are becoming the wave of the future for more than just stay at home parents. Mindsets are shifting and people are becoming less inclined to commute or be held captive to the 9-5 grind. Remote positions are prevalent which is wonderful news for those of us who want to raise our children and still be financially independent. The average salary of a scopist is between $30 000-$50 000/year. Schooling can be completed online in as little as 6-8 months for roughly $3500. Love to write with ingenuity to entertain your readers? Knowledgeable around current trends and events? Why not consider writing a newspaper column? Many columnists today have the luxury of working remotely and are even granted the ability to choose their hours and the number of articles they submit. A degree in journalism is an asset no doubt about it, but if you possess education or expertise in a distinct field, you may be considered for specific articles touting you as the expert.

Ann Landers became a national institution without a formal degree and while admittedly times have changed, if you are able to ‘put the pen to paper’ in a unique and diverse fashion, you may be just what the doctor ordered. Local publications, magazines focused on your talent and editorials are a fantastic place to start for any budding columnist. Wages between $25-$35/hour are attractive for stay at home parents looking for something while their babes’ nap. If you are interested, check out this link to learn more.

    48. DESIGN PRINTABLES

For all of those moms and dads with an aptitude for all that is artistic why not put that talent to work and develop a little stream of income by selling printables? Printables are the hottest trend on sites such as Pinterest and are being wielded by bloggers all over social media. Printables are downloadable graphic designs that can pertain to any topic. Inspiration and motivational quotes are notably big-ticket sellers, but sayings that serve as encouragement or reminders seem to be the most popular.

Used as screensavers, embossed onto pillows, framed, and bulletins on social media posts are just a few ways printables are utilized. With a vast market of opportunity, you need to choose your style, download your program and start marketing your trademarks. If you are interested in designing and selling printables then this article may be of benefit to you.

Worth noting is the mention that you do not need to be well-versed in graphic design to be successful with printables. Why not snoop around and determine if this passive income recommendation is an effort you might be interested in trying?

    49. CHANGE YOUR SEARCH ENGINE

Connect with BING to get the inside scoop and start surfing.

    50. EXAMINE SEARCH ENGINES

It may be difficult to believe it sometimes, but humans still have the ability to do a better job than search engine algorithms hence the need for Search Engine Evaluators. By rating the search results, users are assured premium inquiries. With flexible hours and the work from anywhere option, this job pays around $12-$15/hour but you are required to commit to 10hours/week.

Additional requirements for successful candidates are fluent in English, knowledgeable with regards to current events and trends, and able to pass an interview/test.There are a number of companies offering this position so you may as well apply to them all and improve your odds. Appen is my favorite, but you can choose to work for Lionbridge, iSoftStone or the demigod of SEO and hit up Google under 'ads quality raters'.

    51. AMAZON MECHANICAL TURK

A crowdsourcing website, businesses-fondly referred to as 'requesters' hire 'crowdworkers/turkers' (that's you) to conduct jobs that computers are unable to perform. Employers post jobs known as Human Intelligence Tasks (HITs) such as determining specific content in an image or video, answering questions or writing product descriptions. From surveys to categorization tasks, excel spreadsheet work and YouTube video ratings, there are a ton of options.

Like everything in life, the more you put in the more you tend to get out. True here too. The more HITs you are able to complete the better the paycheck. Typical earnings are between $6-$10/hour so it's not a get rich quick scheme, but for stay at home moms looking for a little side gig this is something to consider. Interested? INSTRUCT ONLINE

Leverage your skill set and consider offering online instruction. From fitness to art classes, music, and photography, virtually everything imaginable can now be taught online and achieve an income for stay at home parents. A few things to keep in mind when starting out:

    • Know your market and ideal customer
    • Determine why someone would need and pay for your services
    • Create your unique brand and develop services to meet the needs of our chosen client base

Advertise yourself wisely using EVERY platform available. From social media, to press releases and word of mouth referrals, the more attractive and in-demand you present yourself and your brand, the better the chance of success and elevated compensation you will generate.

Here is an interesting article that provides some useful information and a step-by-step guide to institute an online business I trust you will find useful in addition to three of my faves for your viewing pleasure.

    52. LIVE MUSIC TUTOR

A site that promotes live video music lessons they offer instrument and singing lessons. It is beneficial to own a degree, however, if you are self-taught and can demonstrate expertise in said instrument then stay at home parents may qualify for this at-home opportunity.

Pricing is listed on their website, but a quick overview reveals $25-$60/session depending on the length of teaching time. Instructors earn 80% and pay is scheduled as a direct deposit every second week.

    53. WELCOME FIT

This is for certified trainers only, but it is worth noting that you can become certified online at your own pace for roughly $1500. The site allows trainers to create a profile with the option to work from anywhere. You set your hours and your fees and Welcome Fit connects you with potential clients. Free to join this is a relatively new platform that advises there is “no venue hire” and “no middle-man”. Despite my valiant efforts, I was unable to find evidence to suggest otherwise, so it appears to be legit.

Great way to get a leg up and build a client base if nothing else, and the luxury of setting your own hours is an added bonus for parents. You can visit the website here if this suggestion appeals to you and our inner fitness guru.

    54. TAKE LESSONS

Offering every subject imaginable, takelessons.com provides a place for photographers to retain both online and in-home students. Instructor critiques illustrate that there are more than enough clients. Free to join, you are able to set your own rates-typically $35-$80/hour- and create a schedule most conducive to your lifestyle.

Offering bonuses and incentives their admins handle booking and payments for a nominal fee that you can explore forthwith. With the option to grow your business quickly this may be appealing to stay at home parents who don’t have much free time for marketing and prospecting on their own.

    55. ONLINE TUTOR

Why not consider teaching a subject you excel in? There are a number of online platforms who do not require instructors to possess formal training or accreditation. Stay at home parents interested in pursuing this option will need:

    • successfully complete the application and interview process
    • a reliable computer
    • above-average knowledge of the subject you intend to instruct
    • patience and the ability to teach effectively

I have listed FIVE of my number one picks to get you started, but there are dozens of options to be found should these not mold to your criteria.

    56. CHEGG

Requiring a four year degree they offer subjects in mathematics, humanities, languages. and programming fields. Sign up with your FaceBook account and expect to make around $20/hour, paid weekly via PayPal.

    57. WYZANT

Offering 300+ subjects to students online, this is a great place to check out and see if you qualify. Tutors are able to set their own rates with the company skimming a commission fee percentage on a sliding scale system and paying via direct deposit.

Receiving tons of accolades online from both patrons and tutoring staff I would recommend looking into Wyzant for a few extra dollars a month-cover the cost of dance classes?

    58. PREPLY

Prominent tutors are rumored to make around $500/week, but it depends on the number of hours you are able to work. There is definitely flexibility here with numerous subjects to choose from. This is a great option for stay at home moms as they are always looking to hire and the process is relatively painless.

    59. TUTOR.COM

Particular about whom they accept, you must have a formal degree to be considered. The application process is mildly onerous-taking 2-3 weeks to complete. An online application is followed by a subject exam and mock session. If you accomplish these requirements a background record check is required prior to starting.

This podium is very math, science and logistics abundant, but if that is your forte then you should consider it. Tutors get paid in accordance with their skill set and area of study.

The big reveal pertaining to an hourly wage is not advised until you are accepted, however, after some sneaking around I was able to ascertain that you are not going to make more than the hourly minimum wage in your state with this one. It is attractive in that it offers a wide selection of subjects to teach, but beware of a seemingly dodgy pay scale with some disgruntled reviews from employees floating around the 'deep dark web'.

    60. TUTOR ME

Paying roughly $16/hour this platform is super simple to facilitate. Successfully complete the online application process and the company forwards students straight to you. They have a solid reputation online with tutors and students which goes a long way with me in recommending them to stay at home moms trying to make some legit cash from home while juggle the demands of parenting and that thing called life.

    61. ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

ESL definitely has its advantages and there is money to be made, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that the more time you invest the more you will earn with this suggestion. You need a reliable computer and the ability to captivate an audience primarily composed of children with short attention spans-should be a breeze for parents. A degree in English may be necessary, or you may be requested to earn your TEFL certification.

Wages vary per platform but reports indicate earnings between $7-$25+/hour if you are one of the more popular instructors and kill it with the incentive and bonus options.I have included my top five recommendations to get you started:

    DATA ENTRY

EZ money there is no shortage of online data entry jobs for individuals with a computer, some basic skills and a bit of time. Hourly pay is $10-$17 with the luxury of flexibility and autonomy to set your hours around your (insert your kids’) schedules. I cannot tell a lie, however, data entry can be extremely boring. Tasks involve a TON of repetition, and the chance of you becoming wealthy performing data entry are slim to none.

That being said, it is mindless work, perfect for the sleep-deprived parent who still has the capacity to stay organized and do more than string a sentence together. Basic computer knowledge is recommended and if nothing else you’ll earn a few bucks for diapers or rep soccer. This is a reasonably comprehensive guide to platforms offering data entry openings which is worth the read and listed below are five platforms that I feel are worth their weight as prospects.

    62. SMART CROWD

Paid to complete tasks as required, this facet of Lionbridge is free to join and allows you to work as often and whenever you like. Your skill set is matched with corresponding assignments that suit your credentials. Jobs vary in remuneration and you are paid once per month. A supplemental income with no long term commitment, there is an assortment of posts ranging from data entry, data research, and testing. Perfect for busy parents and if interested in signing up there is no harm in adding yourself to the pool.

    63. XEROX

Yep-the photocopy and ink masters hire remote data entry/verification agents. Although infrequent, jobs are listed on their careers page of the website. Offering a salary 42.9% higher than the national average, agents make $19.40/hour. If you needed a reason to check for openings on a recurring basis that may be a good enough incentive.

    64. TDEC

Cloaked under a veil of secrecy, apparently, it is possible to work remotely for TDEC. Referring to The Data Entry Company, this USA based corporation offers a number of services however, my pursuit to determine details and rate of pay was thwarted by a complete lack of information ANYWHERE about their logistics.

I can tell you that they provide data entry service for some pretty swanky clients including a drug enforcement agency and, Florida Department of Health-Office of Vital Statistics. You have the ability to connect with the company through a contact form on their website, but you need to promise me now that if you are successful at securing a spot you must provide me with the inside scoop-please

    65. CAPITAL TYPING

With a host of options for online services, you are paid ‘per piece’ as opposed to an hourly rate which comes with its pros and cons. If you are quick and generate quality work there is money to be made. For those of the meticulous variety, this may not be your best option.

The company does allow you to choose your hours and flexibility is appreciated by stay at home parents undoubtedly, the downside is that they do not commit to the number of hours/week you will be eligible for work. The website is useful for those interested and you can log in here when time allows.

    66. DATA PLUS+

THE data entry platform, DataPlus+ offers everything data. Remote positions are available, but applicants must pass a criminal records test, have a reliable computer and be able to type FAST if you want to make any money with this. Similar to Capital Typing, this is a ‘paid per piece’ arrangement sooo….the faster you can click those keys the better the direct deposit will be at the end of each piece you finish.

As an independent contractor, the application process is completely online and the company does not accept email or telephone requests. Complete the application, provide the requested documentation and wait. If they like what you have to offer they contact you. If you don’t hear anything within 2-4 weeks I would count our losses and move on. Good luck and if you want to apply now click here.

    FOR THE FOODIES

Gordon Ramsey may not be a household name for everyone, but if you enjoy food, love to cook or just love listening to a man with an incredibly sexy British accent scream at the top of his lungs that chances are you have watched at least one episode of Master Chef after the kiddos have gone to bed. I won’t judge-promise.

Kidding aside, if you enjoy cooking or baking and have been told by someone who is not a direct member of your family that you are good at it you may be able to achieve some compensation for your efforts. With healthy eating and fresh meals in our faces, there is no denying that home cooking is preferred over processed and frozen dinner options. People are willing to pay for home cooking and baked goods that taste “just like nanna used to make” so don’t underestimate your talent. Here are a few ‘host a dinner party’ suggestions that may have your brain boiling with ideas.

    67. EAT WITH

Offering culinary experiences around the world, becoming a host for this corporation is a seamless process. Apply online-they say you never have another chance to make a first impression-so you need to nail it here. Be innovative with a dash of flamboyance to really get the judges’ attention. If you are chosen you are then given the opportunity to “host an audition”, a dinner party in your home where local residents come and essentially rate your meal.

If selected as a host you can then begin posting your events around to fit with your schedule. Hosts are permitted to charge fees they feel are a fair representation of your hard work and skills. Privy to an array of people from across the world who are traveling to your area or even more of your community members, you are covered by the company’s insurance plan and they take care of payment arrangements.

Hosts are reported to be paid within 48 hours of an event and Eat With Me offers generous assistance and support. A pretty cool concept I think, so if you might just be the next Master Chef then do Gordon proud and sign up here.

    68. TRAVELING SPOON

Passionate cooks who cherish the food they create and enjoy sharing their gift of cooking with others is what this online platform seeks in hosts they retain. Interjecting a cultural or religious flair into your meals is an added bonus and one that will win you huge favor with panelists. Home chefs can apply online and then participate in a skype or telephone interview. Traveling Spoon is particular about whom they choose so the next step is, of course, a tasting. If you are given the green light, you add payment details to your online profile and you are golden.

Critiques indicate that the company does not only provide 100% coverage for their hosts but also contributes as much detail about potential guests to the host as possible. Traveling Spoon handles all transactions and appears to set fees accordingly. There is some fine print you should review, but honestly, this company appears to go above and beyond for both their hosts and their guests and you can go here for more details.

    69. BONAPPETOUR

As upscale as they sound, this company offers more than just an opportunity to host a dinner party. Qualified hosts can take their guests on food tours, tasting and beverage trails, teach a cooking class, offer an outdoor eating experience or provide the tried and true dinner party methodology. Open to new and innovative ideas there is a heap of potential for any foodie to really soar with this biz.

Stay at home parents can enjoy some social time with ‘real adult conversation’ and get paid to do it. The company offers to take care of your marketing and bring foodies from all over the world to your doorstep with 24/7 assistance to ensure their entrepreneurs succeed. With the option to earn $1000/engagement this is really worth investigating further.

    70. MEAL SHARING

More of a homey feel this company offers home-cooked meal-prepared by you, providing hosts an opportunity to set their prices and share their tables with new people. Chosen hosts can be as simple or as extravagant as they like in their culinary creations, and descriptions of the meal are completely up to you.

There appears to be a lot of autonomy, and with no service fees, the chef gets what the chef asks for in terms of cost per head (ranging from $5-$50 typically). Cover costs and just enjoy the social time or bring in a bit of cha-ching, how you run your kitchen is totally up to you. For more information or to begin the online application process check out their website.

    71. START YOUR OWN

If you know you have a knack for creating out of the box meals that WOW, why not consider going at it solo style? Connect with other stay at home parents via social media platforms and offer your services.  Just because you are like Bobby Flay in the kitchen does not mean that other parents are.

Trust me when I tell you that most of us could use a leg up when it comes to planning any kind of dinner party or family occasion where food is involved. Not only will you have the chance to make some extra money, but you will meet people in your community.

You may even make a friend or too which is wonderful to combat the feeling of isolation that sometimes goes hand in hand with parenting. Start with Facebook or LinkedIn and bonne chance!

    72. CATERING

If inviting strangers into your home isn’t your cup of tea, or evening dinner parties just don’t gel with bedtime routines, why not consider catering? Home chefs can connect with online platforms such as EAT CLUB prepare and deliver lunchtime meals and snacks to local businesses.

Granted it is a fast-paced environment, but it is during the day, so if you have school-age kids and are looking for a few hours of work while they are out of the house, this may be an ideal opportunity. With options to deliver or distribute pay is between $13-$23/hour based on your position. If you think this may fit with your style of living or you would like to read more about EAT CLUB you can visit their website here.

    73. PERSONAL CHEF

Join a brokerage service for private chefs with MIUMMIUM and work when you want, and earn what you want. The largest ‘Personal Chef marketplace on the web’ chefs are required to purchase ingredients, prepare and serve in someone else’s home. Contingent on how much time you have as a stay at home parent to sneak away for a few hours will be the deciding factor for many.

If you have alternate care providers most events are held during the evening and weekends and you are able to schedule your availability directly on your profile page. There you also describe the style of cooking you offer and discuss the number of guests and cost per person and receive reviews from patrons. Take a further look here and see what MIUMMIUM is all to determine if it would be a suitable side hustle for you and your family.

    74. MEAL PREP

Everyone has seen the commercials for HelloFresh and Blue Apron. An abundance of families utilize meal prep companies as their go-to option to ensure they eat healthy and delicious food. With no time to shop or cook, people are happy to outsource this service knowing they are going to receive high-quality, fresh and ready to eat meals.

While meal prep companies do not offer remote assignments relating to the actual meal preparation (they do offer telecommunication positions if that is of interest to you) this is an in-demand service and does not appear to be diminishing in popularity.

Why not consider opening your own meal prep business? Start small and control the number of clients you manage.

As your children grow, your business could grow and then who knows, you could be the next Martha Stewart of the meal prep world.

If this suggestion appeals to you or you are merely curious to see what it would take to actually make this happen, check out this article that breaks down just how to get your feet off the ground with this enterprise.

    75. MAKE AND MARKET BAKED GOODS

Shout out to all the home bakers. You possess a talent that cannot be duplicated. No matter how well your local grocery store bakery masters those puff pastries, nothing ever tastes as good as homemade. Anything from biscotti to cupcakes, muffins, and bread is up for grabs. People who do not bake are willing to pay for the real deal-trust me when I tell you this.

Like any new venture, starting a baked goods business will require more legwork than just being able to assemble mouth-watering confections. You will need to do your research and formulate a business plan if you hope to be successful. For some stay at home moms, this may not be feasible as initial stages of any undertaking can be time-consuming. If you can squeeze in the hours here is an article worth reading that may help forge a plan and begin flouring your baking sheets.

    76. CAKE DESIGNER

While you may not make millions with this proposition, you definitely have more flexibility in terms of hours of availability and what you are able to charge. Cake designers are a valuable asset, especially in the wedding industry, but the reality is that they are not cheap to make. Even if you only made one cake a month, you would still be able to generate a few hundred extra dollars for our household expenses.

Never underestimate the power of word of mouth referrals, notably where weddings are concerned. Create the perfect cake for one glowing bride and the domino effect will be put into motion. Join a wedding-related Facebook group, create your own page or website to promote our wares and the world’s your oyster-or should I say fondant?

This article is UK based, but it is current and offers some super tips that can be applied to any cake designer looking to generate some capital from their skills no matter where you live.

    77. RECIPE CREATOR

Do you have ‘secret recipes’ that have been in your family for generations? Can you make a French Onion soup like no other? Why not consider creating and selling your techniques for profit? Bloggers, Facebook groups, freelance platforms, and revenue sharing options are always looking for innovative recipes to market to their consumers. You need to be able to provide specific measurements and instructions so no more “a pinch of this” lingo. If you can do that, cook it and photograph it you have a sellable skill in the palm of your hands.

Recipe contests such as Contest Cook offer prizes from $500-$1000 for winning entries. If you want to step it up a notch consider selling your recipes to restaurants or home delivery services, but be cautious. Patent law is a real thing so retain legal counsel, or at the very least have a conversation with someone in the know. This feature provides some tips and solid advice for those interested in pursuing this alternative.

    78. WRITE AND SELL A COOKBOOK

If Teresa Guidice can do it I bet you can too. Writing a cookbook is a labor of love and will never generate a profit overnight. If you enjoy inventing unique and interesting recipes, have a specific niche in mind and a willingness to plug away at it while the young ones are napping there is potential to reap the rewards

Like any publication, there is a process. From finding an agent to completing revisions, agreeing on an advance and being prepared to market your work. All can be demanding and time-consuming, not ideal for stay at home parents I know, but hear me out.

You know it will take time to create and write the number of recipes needed to launch a cookbook, so if you start now, by the time you get a portion of ‘your real-life’ back, your book will be ready to hit the shelves.

This endeavor is not a quick fix for parents looking to make money from home RIGHT NOW. If that is the financial situation at the moment, I suggest you shelve this until time and resources are on your side. Read this now or pin it for later, but this publication knocks it out step by step and gives the good the bad and the ugly around writing and selling a cookbook.

    79. START A CSA (community supported agriculture)

Armed with a green thumb and a bit of property it is possible to supplement your income selling your locally grown produce to members of your community. People or families purchase a share in your garden prior to the start of the season, either week-to-week, monthly or for the entire season. As the owner/operator of the farm share, it is your responsibility to grow sufficient quality produce to feed those that have purchased shares.

How much and what you cultivate really depends on how much land you have to work with, but even a small plot has the capacity to generate an income. This can be a bit of an undertaking, but you can include your children in the process and teach them the hands-on approach to growing healthy food.

You will need to invest some time marketing yourself and create a way to attract members. What you charge will be established by what and how much it takes to grow the produce you intend to sell. This article offers a step-by-step instructional guide for anyone interested in pursuing this recommendation.

    THE RESELL REVOLUTION

With consumerism at an all-time high, chances are you have more than one article of clothing or pair of shoes in your closet that you have never worn, or never intend to wear again. Why not recoup some of that frivolous spending? Remember-a time when you went to the mall to buy things for yourself and not for the gaggle of children that is now sucking every red cent out of your wallet. Sorry, that’s harsh, but you get my point.

Seriously, there is a market for unloading clothes, shoes, accessories, you name it, that will not only help you de-clutter but give you a few bucks to buy what you really need. Here are a few of my favorites that not only offer fair prices for products but are relatively easy to maneuver.

    80. SELL YOUR JUNK MAIL

You can put up as many 'no soliciting' signs as you like, but at the end of the day we all receive some 'junk mail'. Rather than toss or recycle, why not make a few dollars and connect with the Small Business Knowledge Center. Become a Consumer Panelist, which means that you agree to participate and send them your direct junk mail and email spam.

Rewarded with points panelists are able to earn points towards prepaid VISA gift cards. Business owners and self-employed individuals are eligible for bonus points. Register every adult in your home to augment your earning potential. You're going to throw this stuff away so make a few dollars and sign up here to get started.

    81. SELL OLD MOBILE DEVICES

Everyone has at least one old sell phone or out of date laptop buried on a self somewhere. For stay at home moms looking for some fast cash, why not consider unloading these unused items for money? There are a number of online and offline places to hawk your wares, but the easiest by far-in my humble opinion-is gazelle.com. Willing to pay actual money for working and broken devices, this LLC "provides a fast and easy shipping kit".

Apply online and check out their website to ascertain if you have what they are looking for. Follow their step-by-step instructions and they will send you an offer. Should you accept, there are two ways to ship which you can read about now. The company pays cash via PayPal or direct deposit and this link will take you where you need to go to get started.

    82. RESELL NEW CLOTHES AND SHOES

For my Instagram users, selling online could not be easier. Simply snap a photo of your item(s), tag them, post on IG and connect your account to INSELLY. A marketplace for Instagram, this e-commerce facilitator is a platform for sellers and discovery engine for buyers.

    83. RESELL USED BRAND NAME CLOTHES

Society is becoming more environmentally aware and the majority of people are engaging in an activity parents have been using for years. Recycled and used clothing. Kids grow so fast so why spend senseless dollars on outfits that realistically they are only going to wear once?

And what about all of your clothes and your husbands for that matter that has been sitting in the back of the closet forever? With numerous options to unload your used clothes for cash in hand, here are five of my front runner candidates:

    84. THREADUP

thredUp is “reinventing resale with a mission to inspire a new generation of shoppers to think secondhand first”. This environmentally conscious company is only one platform that is changing the face of “retail revolutions”. threadUp sends sellers a bag to fill with retail items-mostly children but they have recently begun accepting women’s clothing.

They offer 5%-80% of the anticipated selling price, taking a commission of 20%-95% of the selling price. The more valuable the item the better your percentage and lower thredUps commission. Using Paypal to compensate sellers this is such an EASY way to make some extra money.  Purge those unused items and get that warm fuzzy feeling knowing you are being environmentally conscious. 85. GRAILED

Here is a site predominately for the guys-didn’t forget about all the stay at home dads trying to save or make a buck too. Curating to fashion-forward gentlemen this site prefers men’s designer fashion and street wear.

Free to list the company takes only 6% commission plus PayPal costs making it one of the lowest online sites available. Recently the company added a women's wear line called Heroine, but if you want to sign up for Grailed you can do it right now.

    86. POSHMARK

One of the founding fathers of online shopping for used clothing, poshmark is a household name for most. Super social this platform is a website or APP download where members sell to one another. The APP is by far easier to use and I would recommend sticking with that based on time’s sake alone.

Free to join, poshmark skims $2.95 for items under $15 and 20% for everything else. There is money to be made with this platform and you can click here if you wish to launch some sales.

    87. REALREAL

This lux APP only accepts high-end fashion and luxury items, but chances are that if you are knee-deep in the kid-zone, you may not be wearing those pieces again for awhile. Both men’s and women’s clothing and accessories are considered if they have the correct name on the tag. RealReal also accepts home goods and fine art but it must be up to snuff. Sellers have the option to earn up to 70% on sales.

There is a membership fee associated with this platform-$10/year for the ‘First Look’ membership and $30/year for ‘Platinum’. If you have couture pieces that you are not using, check out this site

    88. MATERIAL WORLD

Material World sends sellers a ‘mailer’ which you fill with your excellent gently used designer and name-brand clothes. Material World evaluates your items and sends you an email with their best offer. If you accept, you are paid upfront and that’s it.

Paid via PayPal you can take the money and run or put your earnings towards purchasing a ‘box’ of your own. Seller critiques advise that price points are fair and the service is not only “quick and easy” but fun too. If this is up your alley and you have items they are looking for you can sign up and crack at it.

    89. PEDDLE USED BOOKS

Old textbooks collecting dust on a basement shelf? You could be sitting on a potential goldmine. Textbooks are nearly as expensive as having children and used textbooks are a SIZZLING commodity.

This article lists the top choices and how you can make peddling used books a very advantageous side biz all from the comfort of your own home.

EMBRACE CHORES AND THE DAILY GRIND

Love them or hate them errands make the world go ‘round. The ‘to do’ list seems never-ending on most days. Stay at home moms have a bit of an edge over most, however, as you can do your running around during the day when the stores are typically less busy.

Granted it usually happens with one-two or more kids in tow, but if your little's consider running around an outing and you need to go anyway why not levy your chores and make a bit of cash on the side? There are a number of ways you can earn money by completing the daily tasks you are already doing for someone else and get paid for it. These are several that are particularly profitable.

    90. BECOME A TASKER

TaskRabbit is a “task-based” service that safely connects ‘taskers’ to users within their community. Tasks range from handypeople and housekeeping jobs to delivery and personal assistant gigs. Register online and if accepted you will be responsible for attending a local info session before beginning your role as a tasker.

Charging a flat fee of $25 to join taskers are able to set their own hours and rates. TaskRabbit takes 30% of earnings but any tips you make are yours free and clear.

    91. DELIVER GROCERIES

Online shopping and goods at our doorstep are a luxury enjoyed by a substantial number of people. The reality is that someone has to handpick those groceries as promised and deliver them to customers-why not let that someone be you? The two big players in the online grocery delivery service are Shipt and Instacart.

Both require their delivery people to own insulated bags, have a decent knowledge of produce and product awareness. You must own a reliable vehicle and be 18 years of age or older.

Also worth noting is that you need to be able to carry at least 40lbs and successfully complete the registration process. Acceptance is based on demand, but there is no harm in applying and putting your name in the hat when you get the chance.

Tips are where delivery people make their real money but experienced shoppers can expect to earn between $15-$25/hour. Instacart is rumored to not only pay better, but have clients who apparently tip better, but I can’t state that as fact.

Both platforms operate on an APP and pay weekly. Flexible hours and decent pay-if you enjoy a trip to the grocery store with your cuties in tow then off you go.

    92. BE A SUBSTITUTE FOR HOURLY JOBS

Service and retail industry based there are two major players that locate hourly workers for businesses in a bind, Shiftgig, and Wondolo, but Time Saved is hot on their heels. All are online/mobile personnel marketplaces providing temporary staffing solutions.

Gigwalkers get paid to walk around town and complete assignments such as taking photos, entering establishments hours of business, completing surveys and taking audio recordings of the interior of locales.

Pile the kids into the stroller and head out when you can as hours are flexible. You complete the task-enter the info into the APP where it is reviewed by admin before you receive compensation via PayPal. Typical earnings are between $4-$60 depending on the size of the jobs and the length of tie it takes to complete it.

    107. MICROBLADING

Everyone is talking about their eyebrows! I’m unclear when eyebrows became such an intense debate, but there is no denying that the quest for the perfect brow is very prevalent. Microblading certification requires a little legwork and some upfront change. Plan to invest approximately $3500-$4000.

The ’80s gave us waxing, the ’90s was the sugaring craze, and now we have threading. Threading as actually been around forever, but has risen in popularity as people become more conscious about what products they use on their skin. Using a twisted cotton thread, hairs are plucked out.

As long-lasting as waxing, you can become certified online for $139+. For stay at home parents who are cognizant of healthy eating and a natural-based approach to physical and mental health, why not think about investigating the Holistic Nutrition field?

A Holistic Specialist is less demanding in terms of hours and educational requirements than a Holistic Nutrition Wellness Practitioner, however, both have the option to study online in your ‘spare time’ in two years or less. With a pay grade of $25-$30+/hour, your credentials dictate your compensation.

The number of hours required and money earned vary for these two positions as a Practitioner is more specialized than a Specialist, and requires additional schooling, however, the hours are flexible and business rewards immeasurable. Holistic Nutrition is a flourishing industry with the potential to reap significant monetary compensation.

    A STEP OUTSIDE YOUR RESIDENCE

"The days are long but the years are short". I appreciate completely why many mothers or fathers decide to stay home with their children. But what happens when your kids grow up-head ff to school or spend weekends with their friends? While there are always a million things to get done around the house, this is the ideal time to carve out a bit of time for yourself and make some money at the same time.

There are numerous jobs that are compatible with school schedules or offer evening/weekend work. Here are a few suggestions, you never know, one may resonate with you and your skill set. Time to cut the cord mommy.

    112. BUS DRIVER

If you have a before and after school arrangement then driving school bus may be the ideal job for you. Most companies offer on the job training, but you will be required to gain your CDL (commercial drivers licence) in addition to a passenger endorsement and a school bus endorsement.

Criminal record checks and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also compulsory. To learn more about particulars regarding the hiring process you can review terms here.

The job consists of 20 hours behind the wheel each week and pays roughly $14/hour. Pick ups are obviously early morning and mid-afternoon around school schedules.

There are options to collect additional  hours driving multiple routes or for school trips to lessen 'down-time' during the day. There is an enormous demand for bus drivers with various platforms jobs are posted from LinkedIn to Indeed, but here are a few I found on jooble to consider.

    113. HOUSE/OFFICE CLEANER

Like it or not there is always housework to be done, especially when you have kids-grrr! Many families simply do not want to deal with cleaning-either they don't have the time or they absolutely abhor it. Great for those of us that don't mind getting down and dirty as there is some real money to be made cleaning houses or commercial properties. House cleaners charge up to $50/hour. Hours can be flexible and you can choose to connect with an existing company or go at it on your own.

Most homeowners want their places cleaned during the day while they are at work while commercial/office buildings need their cleaning completed early mornings or evening when no one is working. You can advertise yourself on social media platforms or connect with an agency online. Here are a few opportunities to consider if you think house cleaning would gel with your schedule.

    114. BARTENDER/WAIT STAFF

There is never a shortage of job opportunities in the service industry. With your wage primarily comprised from tips do some research and try to get in with a bar or restaurant that has generous patrons. Breakfast places are great in terms of hours, but with cheap meals and fast turn around, you will be doing a lot of work for little tips.

Look for fine dining or busy 'watering hole' options if that is feasible with your family schedule. Wait staff typically make a salary of $8-$20/hour with salary and tips and there is legislation that dictates if tips do not equal the minimum wage of $7.25/hour the owner must increase the wage to compensate as outlined here.

Bartenders generally bring home more with an average rate of $23/hour. Check out your local classifieds or look for work on this site to see if there is anything in your area.

    115. LOCAL TOUR GUIDE

    SPORTS FANS

Take me out to the ball game! If you are a sports fanatic I think you will agree that while watching it on television, there is nothing quite like the excitement of attending a live game. Sporting events can be both costly and time consuming, but if you have the luxury of an alternate care provider, you could implement the "your it" concept of parenting, slip out and be part of the action for free and get paid for it.

There are a number of options for both amateur and professional sports fans to pursue. Listed below are a few front runners.

    116. RUN YOUR LOCAL SPORTS ARENA CONCESSION STAND

While you have your own opinion regarding the Don Cherry fiasco, the reality is that hockey lives on, and not just hockey, all kinds of local sports venues have a concession stand offering coffee and snack to patron. Some of them are run by volunteers true, but there are many that pay a wage to ensure spectators have something to nosh on during the game.

$11.29/hour for local/amateur venues you could earn up to $25/hour if you manage to land a gig at a professional sporting facility. Start here but look into all of the usual suspects where postings are listed and let's play ball!

    117. PARKING ATTENDANT

The first face spectators see at sporting events, parking attendants need to be both courteous and knowledgeable. For most sports stadiums on the job training is provided and wages are between $14-$25/hour depending on the recreation facility.

You need to be available for home games but there is a real demand for this position known as "the key players in event success and security". College towns may post on their institutions website, but numerous job postings can be viewed on social media platforms and online job sites such as simplyhired.com and teamworkonline.com.

    118. SECURITY OFFICER

There's no denying that people tend to get a little cray cray during sporting events. Unfortunately,  the drunken idiot slewing rancid commentary at fellow fans is often the last thing a security guard needs to worry about.

With the increase in bomb threats and potential acts of terrorism, security guards need to have a calm yet authoritative demeanor and be able to handle themselves well under immense pressure.

While no formal training is required, there will be on-site instruction that you will need to complete successfully in order to be considered for this high-stress position. Average wages are $11-$15/hour and the goal is keeping patrons safe. Jobs are posted on a number of employment websites in addition to the stadium website such as this one.

    119. OTHER SPORTS VENUE JOBS

Clearly there are quite a few ways to generate a part time income working at the hoe games. Here are several additional suggestions worth noting with links attached for those stay at home parents who are interested and have the means to swing
