Partner with Anthony Review – is it legit? (Anthony Morrison)

Partner with Anthony is an affiliate marketing course that you can use to promote the actual course itself for commission. Partner with Anthony only costs $7 though, so you make the real money once you get people into the training platform and they buy the various softwares like Aweber, Clickfunnels, etc and Anthony's other courses that are priced much higher. You earn commission on all their purchases inside the ecosystem.

Sounds like a great opportunity, however in affiliate marketing being able to duplicate landing pages & email marketing is the easy part. The difficult part is generating the traffic, due to it's nature of how quickly things get saturated.

Does Partner with Anthony give you the skills you need to be better at traffic than other affiliate marketers? Because unless you're at the top 10% in skill as an affiliate marketer in generating traffic, the income will never be consistent. That's just how competitive affiliate marketing is.

Affiliate Marketing is low-barrier to entry

Think about it, affiliate marketing has the lowest barrier to entry. You don't even have to create your own product. You don't even need to buy inventory. You can just promote another person's product, because they did all the hard work for you. It sounds great because it sounds easier. But when an opportunity is easier to start, that's also the opportunity that's the most saturated. Always remember that. What worked 15 years ago for Adrian Morrison while he was in college, isn't what works today.

What is Partner with Anthony?

Partner With Anthony is a training course that teaches you how to make money with affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing is a business model through which you promote other people’s products online, for a commission. If they buy the product, you get a commission.

In Partner with Anthony, you're given access to his training platform for $7 per month. Inside all the various modules there are links to various softwares and other training that Anthony has created that are all affiliate links.

When you refer another person into Partner with Anthony through your affiliate link. You get commission for every purchase that person makes on tools and other training that Anthony has made.

By creating a program that's so cheap to enter ($7 per month) and Anthony did the hard work of creating all the lessons (some 30+ modules), all you have to do is refer people into the ecosystem. Anthony is making money as his students promote his program and their referrals keep buying more training inside.

One thing to note is that, Anthony has a $1500 high ticket program called the Ambassador which he upsells with a salesperson as soon as you get into the ecosystem or "funnel".

Does Anthony, however, offer value with his Partner With Anthony training?

Partner with Anthony gives you solid training on funnels, landing pages and e-mail marketing. However, there's a lot top be desired when it comes to the traffic generation part, which is arguably the most important aspect of affiliate marketing.

The way Partner With Anthony (PWA) emphasis is that you promote PWA itself, as an affiliate. So when you refer others to the same business model, and they sign up (like you did), then you earn commissions on all their future purchases inside PWA.

BTW this is the same model as Wealthy Affiliate, another program that is disguised as affiliate marketing training, but they guide students to become affiliates to promote that program itself.

Partner with Anthony vs. Wealthy Affiliate (Solo Ads vs. Blogging)

The main difference is that in Wealthy Affiliate they teach you to create a blog, which can take a lot of time.

Anthony Morrison teaches you to buy solo ads.

Solo ads are advertising you buy from email list owners. These people that have huge email list, you pay them to have them send your email promoting PWA. The problem with this is that you didn't create the email list yourself, so there was no trust built. There's also a lot of low quality emails in these lists so the conversions are going to be tough.

In PWA, you also earn commissions on any tools or additional training your referrals purchase, as they progress through the training.

For example, you will need to purchase tools like ClickFunnels, Aweber (email autoresponder) and link tracking software, in order to make your business work. So if your referral goes through with the training and starts implementing the PWA business model, you earn as they subscribe.

It's not as good as the passive income potential from my Number One business option for 2020, but it's at least a start.

Who is Anthony Morrison?

Anthony Morrison is a self-taught Internet marketer that got started 15 years ago while attending college full-time. He was motivated to make money on the side after his father lost millions by investing in Worldcom that went bankrupt due to fraud. He first started with what he knew best, aftermarket performance auto parts. He dropshipped auto parts straight from the factory to his customers and due to how untapped the internet was back then, he grew that business to $200K per month in revenue and around $50K in net profit.

The success of that venture saved his family’s fortunes, and from there, Anthony got into becoming an affiliate marketing for credit companies and that too took off. Pretty soon he had all these people asking him to teach them what he did. He devised a systematic approach to teach his brother Adrian Morrison and his college roommate, and they too started to make money online. This is how he got started in the digital info publishing business. He saw the power of imparting knowledge to people, and to do it at scale, he realized he needed to put his knowledge in digital format.

His younger brother, Adrian Morrison, has a dropshipping course called eCom Success Academy. Adrian teaches people how to set up play the middleman game by setting up Shopify stores and selling unique products that's dropshipped from China using Facebook, Instagram & Tik Tok ads.

There's no doubt that Anthony has made it as an online entrepreneur. He has received numerous ClickFunnel Awards, including an 8 Figure and two 2 Comma Awards, proving that he is an entrepreneur who has made millions online.

Anthony is a big believer in affiliate marketing because that's how he got started and that's what he teaches. However, his true claim to wealth is his ability to create marketing videos & courses, run paid ads and sell his own informational products.

What is Morrison Publishing?

Morrison Publishing has an extensive (or is it exhaustive?) list of products (last I checked there were 26!), which include a number of books and training courses on internet marketing. Anthony has learned a variety of techniques that have helped him become successful, and he offers these via Morrison Publishing that could help you make money online.

SUMMARY

Anthony covers everything from personal development, e-mail marketing, digital publishing & e-commerce. They also have some software and do live events.

Fair warning, a lot of the cheaper programs are trip wires to get you into their funnel. Once in the funnel, you will get approached by their sales team to get you into their higher ticket programs.

They've mastered course creation and the upsell game. Yet what they teach their students is affiliate marketing.

How Anthony Morrison Gets Commissions Without Selling Anything

The Concept of ERC Affiliate Program

Anthony Morrison gets a commission without selling through the ERC affiliate program. ERC is a a financial aid for businesses hit by COVID-19 pandemic. Affiliates guide business owners to a company that handles the ERC paperwork. Affiliates earn a commission once the business gets the credit from the government. This method earns commissions through referrals and not through direct sales.

Is This Strategy Still Applicable in 2024?

The ERC affiliate program might still be applicable in 2024. Businesses that have not previously claimed the ERC for eligible periods within the original timeframe (2020 and 2021), can still file retroactive claims. However, this move is subject to statute of limitations for tax credits.

What's not mentioned in the video: If you are an ERC affiliate, you can only help businesses file for late claims. It wouldn't be smart to invest in this type of affiliate program unless there are new legislative updates that extend or modify the ERC.

Partner with Anthony Program Review

The Partner With Anthony (PWA) affiliate marketing program contains 13 sessions (modules), each with their own downloadable PDF documents and video lessons.

Once you've reached the landing page for the course sign up, you'll notice a few things.

First off, you're met with a big heading stating:

"Looking To Build Your Online Business?

Why Not Partner With Me For 2020?"

It tells you immediately what the course should be about and why you need it. It also implies that you will be working with Anthony.

Who wouldn't want to partner up with a multi-millionaire and build their business?

He uses clips of him being featured on CNN to build his credibility. One thing I did pick up was that with this program, Anthony will show you the exact process he used to make "...a million dollars over ten years ago."

I have to ask: Is this training then still relevant?

The concern I have with him teaching affiliate marketing is he is no longer doing affiliate marketing, he is in the selling course business and has been for a while.

Then, Anthony also shows some wins from his students using the PWA program. These range from a few dollars to the maximim amount shown of $227 per month.

So, straight off the bat, Anthony tells you that you are not going to make thousands of dollars per month using his affiliate program training...

So, can you make money?

Yes!

Will it be a lot, or enough to quit your job?

Then there's this:

I'm not a fan of marketers that use these tactics of creating the urgency. Every internet marketer use these landing pages but for people that's been around internet marketing for a while, it's clear as day that this is not live.

Yet when you run paid ads, you get the attention of people that have no clue and they all fall for it sadly.

You'll be given a choice between $7 per month, or a once-off payment of $97 that also includes a free "Account setup call". This is where the upsells start for other training and courses and software...

When you finally get to your course dashboard, it looks like this:

(Look at all the different courses!) Once you've clicked on the PWA link inside the Your Courses Section, you'll see that the Partner With Anthony program consists of 13 sessions (modules).

The first module is pretty basic, and just gives you an overview of the members area, and what to expect in the course.

An irritating feature of the course, is that you have to wait 24 hours after completing a module for the next one to unlock. So, it takes you much longer to work through the program than is necessary. Especially since some of the modules only contain a few videos and are only a few minutes long...

To make matters worse, some of the video lessons are very basic and cover the absolute minimum of content needed to start your affiliate marketing journey.

Oh, and there is virtually no support for the course content. If you don't understand something, you have to contact the technical support team. They will only help if you have a technical query about the course platform, not the course content itself.

The most important aspects covered in the course, are:

Creating a capture page using ClickFunnels, to collect email leads. You set it up to automatically redirect people who subscribe to the PWA sales page through your referral. Once they've signed up, you get a small "commission".
You will also send people's emails about joining PWA, who didn't initially sign up. You are basically re-targeting people with email marketing who abandoned their "cart". It's a similar process to eCommerce re targeting.

And that is basically the entire program in a nutshell (bar the extras). Anthony also offers you some done for you funnels, which is probably what he referred to when he said: “I’ll do mostly everything for you...”

The problem with done-for-you funnels, is that it is a template that all his students will be using. And if all his students use the same methods and traffic sources, how effective are these funnels then, anyway? This means you still don't know anything about internet marketing...

Is Partner with Anthony Worth It?

$7 dollars a month or $97 one time fee, seems like a bargain, right?

But, this program generates its true money once your inside Anthony's “eco-system”. There are higher-priced upsells and monthly subscriptions that they urge you to buy if you want to get any results.

Upsell 1: ClickFunnels

Clickfunnels gives you the tools and software to create sales funnels. It has a free 14 day trial, but after that, subscriptions are between $99 and $297 per month.

Upsell 2: BuildRedirects

Offers you click and conversion tracking software. It costs between $19.99 and $99.99 per month.

Upsell 3: Digital Marketing Mastermind

This is Anthony Morrison’s very own membership site with more training videos and a private Facebook group that will cost $69.95 per year.

Upsell 4: M Insider Newsletter

Another Morrison Publishing product, featuring a monthly newsletter about optimising your campaigns and earning "even more money". $9.95 per month.

Upsell 5: Get Response

Offers email autoresponders and landing pages between $15 and $1,199 per month (depending on volumes).

Upsell 6: AWeber

An effective tool to collect email subscribers. Available between $19 and $149 per month.

You’re going to need to sign up to all of these monthly subscriptions if you want to implement the training, promote Partner With Anthony and see results.

That means even if you go for the lowest priced package options in each case, the best case scenario is that you’re going to need to shell out a $159.99 per month (plus $69.95 per year and $9.95 if you want Anthony's additional training and tips).

Upsell 7: Ambassador

This is Anthony's more advanced affiliate marketing course where he promises to teach you ways to make much higher commissions. Ambassador costs $1500 to join, and there's a separate private Facebook group inside as well.

The Biggest Issue with Affiliate Marketing

People try to make affiliate marketing seem easy by saying that all you have to do is send people to an affiliate link and you earn commission. You don't have to worry about creating a product or delivering a service.

However, generating the traffic is the troublesome part.

When you're earning commissions, that's not enough to run paid ads and still be profitable.

So your only option is to generate free traffic by either creating a YouTube Channel or a Blog.

Both endeavours take a lot of time and energy. It's not easy for a beginner.

Anthony Morrison and his brother Adrian Morrison can run paid ads because they created their own digital course which they keep 100% of the profits. And they mastered their craft of creating video ads and webinars.

Partner with Anthony Complaints

Success Connection - is a support platform where students can ask questions / reach out directly to Anthony Morrison. Which sounds great but unfortunately we found some complaints regarding Anthony not being responsive on it.

Conclusion: Partner with Anthony is for Beginners

"Partner with Anthony" sounds like he will be working with you to build your business. This is not the case. What this program teaches is for you to promote & sell his PWA program as an affiliate. And he has some teams that can build you Clickfunnels.

Anthony Morrison is a great marketer but I question the business model that his course is teaching because I don't see how any of his students can generate enough traffic for his PWA program to make any decent, sustainable income.

Affiliate marketing is one of the most saturated & competitive online business models.

I do not recommend it for a beginner because the commission is low. You need to be a traffic wizard that's capable of generating tons of traffic to make any decent money.

Lowest barrier of entry for an affiliate marketer is to create YouTube videos, however even then generating consistent traffic is hard.

Anthony is teaching solo ads, which is email-based advertising. Paying people with huge email lists to send your promotional emails. This is not a great long-term sustainable strategy. Imagine when all of Anthony's students send the same promotional emails to all these different email lists?

Ultimately, it comes down to this. Look at what the coaches are doing. The reason Anthony Morrison is successful is because he did the hard work of creating courses that he owns and makes 100% profit margins on. And he turned his customers into his referral marketing machine.

You could make some money with Partner with Anthony but I don't see anyone building a sustainable business out of it. Therefore, it's more designed for beginners as an introduction to internet marketing.

Ultimately, in order to truly succeed online, you need to develop more skills than promoting other people's products.

Which is why I love local lead generation.

Why I Chose Local Lead Generation Over Affiliate Marketing

In local lead generation, you're building your own product. Which is a website that ranks locally #1 for various service based niches like plumber, roofer, landscaper, electrician, etc. Unlike affiliate marketing, you own the site and keep 100% of the profit.

It's much easier than affiliate marketing because you're ranking in cities and suburbs instead of trying to rank something on a global level.

You own the website and simply sell the leads that it generates. It's better than creating promotional content and selling products for other companies. Unlike affiliate marketing, you have full control of your earnings because you don't rely on affiliate programs to pay you.

Local lead generation offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with local businesses. These relationships can be more stable and profitable over time compared to the often short-term and competitive nature of affiliate marketing.

If you are looking for an online business that could replace your 9-to-5, I say get a local lead generation training.
